Why Dr. Seuss is Better Than Star Trek

When examining the social, political and economic ramifications of the exposure of society to neophyte media such as children’s “books” and television, one must indubitably compare and contrast the effects of Star Trek to Dr. Seuss. With the world conquest plans of David Schmidly and his cohort and accomplice in malice, T. Boone Pickens, the obvious conclusion is that the chaotic nonsense sprung from the pages of the Seussian universe have certainly prevailed over the orderly and socialistic universe found in later embodiments of Sir Rodenberry’s utopia. But what of the fledgling voyage into the exploration of the galaxy that was a reflection of our own struggle to become more humane? I contend loyal reader, that William Shatner should be elected president immediately before more streets of our fair burg are closed!
